The annual Independence Day parade will take place on Thursday, July 4 at 10:00am. Modifications will be made due to construction in the downtown and at Community Park.

We understand that change can be challenging, but we truly believe that “The Best is Yet to Come!”, which is why this was chosen as our 2024 parade theme! There will be trophies for floats in the following categories: “Best Theme”, “Most Creative”, “City Council’s Choice” and for kids, there is a “Franklin’s Most Patriotic Kid” Category. Children may decorate a wagon, tricycle, bicycle, and walk the parade route.

Due to the modified route through a residential area, this will NOT be a wet parade. We kindly request that this parade remain dry out of respect for our residents and their homes. Let's keep the celebration festive while also maintaining a clean and respectful environment.
